Worship
North River’s Worship Team is always looking for people to join the Team. Whether it’s singing or playing an instrument, we would love to hear from you. If you would rather be behind the scenes, there are lots of opportunities in our video, sound or media department.
Children’s Ministry

Student Ministries
Student Ministries is one of the busiest ministries here at North River. With Elevate serving children grade 6 through high school, the need for dedicated volunteers is high. Please click here for more information about Student Ministries.
GO TEAM
Going to the world was one of the last commands of Jesus to His disciples; locally, regionally and internationally. Our team looks to equip people associated with North River to use their gifts and abilities to demonstrate the love of Christ, as well as verbally express the message of God’s love and forgiveness. Kitchen Team
Do you love to bake, entertain or just love coffee?! We need your help in the kitchen on Sunday mornings! Help is needed to set up and cleanup at each service. Donated food items are also always welcome! To sign up to help or donate food Click Here!
Card Ministry
North River’s Deacon’s Team coordinates a card ministry that sends thoughtful and meaningful cards in times of joy and sorrow.
Prayer Ministry
The Prayer Ministry, run by our Deacons, responds to prayer requests that are sent to us by phone, email or in person. We also staff a Prayer Room on Sunday mornings.
Facility Upkeep
Our Facilities Manager oversees all vendors who work on our property and manages a great volunteer team to keep the inside and outside of our building and property looking great.
Plant Ministry
North River’s Plant Ministry is an arm of the Deacons Team, run by Joan Richards. Joan takes thoughtful care in choosing the perfect plant or flower arrangement for select occasions.
Food Forest
Our mission is simple: “Nourishing Souls, Cultivating Community, and Growing Together in Faith and Food.” We grow fresh produce to share with those in need while creating a space for fellowship, learning, and outreach. Through partnerships with local pantries and shelters, we’re able to provide food and a sense of connection to our neighbors in need.
Caring Connection
The Caring Connection Team provides short-term assistance and support to individuals and families who are experiencing a challenge or crisis in their life. Some of these life challenges might be a new birth, illness, surgery recovery, death, or other crises. The Caring Connection Team helps to coordinate meals, visits, phone calls, cards, and rides to church and medical appointments. Click Here to Volunteer!
Production Team
Calling all creatives!! The North River Production team is looking for individuals to join our team! If you have experience with graphic design, video editing, camera/filming, audio mixing, or are interested in learning any of these things, we invite you to be a part of our team and are happy to train you! Connection Team
The Connection Team is blessed with many opportunities to experience the love of God by greeting and welcoming people to North River. If you are interested in ushering, greeting, working at the Welcome Center or setting up refreshments on Sunday mornings we have a place for you.
Working Hands
Working Hands works to extend the loving hands of God to help those in need within our Church and our Community. We do general home repairs, yard clean-up, painting and other various projects. If you would like to join our team Click Here to fill out a volunteer form.
