Throughout the Bible there are countless examples that teach us that we are not meant to walk life’s path alone. At North River, we believe that God calls into community, not just with himself, but with other people who are seeking to build a life of faith. At Strands, as we seek to grow in faith, Biblical understanding, and gain practical wisdom for navigating life’s challenges, we also seek to grow authentic relationships meant to honor God and honor others. Join us for our young adult small group!
Serve, Learn, Grow
SERVE: We encourage all of our young adults to serve in some capacity in the church. When we serve the local church alongside others we are strengthened as individuals and the church is strengthened as a whole. God has created and equipped each person with unique personalities and gifts and he calls each one of us to use them to build up His kingdom. When we are serving in an area that uses our gifting, we are the ones who often times feel more joy and blessing than those we are serving! Click HERE to learn more about serving at North River.
LEARN: Through our small group studies, Sunday morning services, serving in the church, and personal study, we encourage all of our young adults to continue to grow in their Biblical understanding and in faith.
GROW: Spiritual and personal growth happen when we serve and learn together! In addition to what we have already discussed above, there are many other “next step” opportunities that we encourage all of our young adults take to continue to grow and be strengthened. One of these steps is The Leadership Formation Adventure (or TLFA for short!) In this cohort style class, your leadership skills will be honed as you learn about Biblical leadership and more about your own leadership style and how you influence people in your own life. Click HERE to learn more about TLFA.
Another step to consider is joining us at North River for the Global Leadership Summit (or GLS for short.) GLS occurs once a year in August. Through the GLS you will hear from some of the top business leaders, researchers, pastors, and innovators in the world. Everyone has influence, and this is your opportunity to increase yours! Registration info will be posted as we get closer to the date.
