Go Team

Going to the world was one of the last commands of Jesus to His disciples; locally, regionally and internationally. Our team looks to equip people associated with North River to use their gifts and abilities to demonstrate the love of Christ, as well as, verbally express the message of God’s love and forgiveness.

Local Outreach

Mother’s Day Outreach for the Brookview House

The Go Team is working on our next outreach effort to serve the Mother’s of the Brookview House.  North River has partnered with the Brooview  House, a non-profit organization, that provides housing and resources to single women that are committed to lifting their families out of homelessness.

The North River Go Team has partnered with other businesses in the community to support this cause on Mother’s Day.

Here’s what the GO Team & businesses will provide for these Mothers:

Tulips / Vases

Plants (veggies and herbs)

(donated by Cityscapes)

Go Team will provide all of the gift bags, and novelties such as lotions and soaps, teas and other special treats.

Here’s how you can help!

  • Landscape Clean Up – Volunteers Needed on Friday, May 12 in Dorchester
  • Mother’s Day Gift Packing party with the Kids on Friday, May 12 in Dorchester
  • Purchase and donate a special Mother’s Day gift for one of the moms at Brookview House

Missionaries We Support

A portion of the Great Commission laid out by the Lord Jesus involved reaching out with the Good News of the Gospel to the edges of the world. To that end, we come alongside the various people and ministries listed below through prayer, encouragement and regular financial giving.

Working Hands

This ministry is designed to engage the congregation, members of North River, and people in our community through needed works projects within our church and throughout the region. Examples of work to be done: build ramps for accessibility, handy-man repairs, yard debris removal for those without the means or ability to do it for themselves. We extend the loving hands of God to help those in need through our working hands.
