Go Team

Going to the world was one of the last commands of Jesus to His disciples; locally, regionally and internationally. Our team looks to equip people associated with North River to use their gifts and abilities to demonstrate the love of Christ, as well as, verbally express the message of God’s love and forgiveness.

Local Outreach

The Big Event, September 11, 2022

Thanks so much to everyone who joined us for this year’s Big Event. We had over 130 people serve at various  locations all over the South Shore. Thanks also to the GO Team for organizing this yearly event.

Baby Bottle Drive For Bethesda House

The GO Team is holding a Baby Bottle Drive to support Bethesda House.  The Bethesda house provides a safe and nurturing home for young mothers, either pregnant or parenting a baby.

Drop your loose change into a baby bottle. Fill it up, if you can. Dollar bills and checks (payable to Bethesda House) are also acceptable.

Through our local outreach initiatives, we partner with several organizations and ministries, working together to meet the practical and spiritual needs of the communities we serve.

Missionaries We Support

A portion of the Great Commission laid out by the Lord Jesus involved reaching out with the Good News of the Gospel to the edges of the world. To that end, we come alongside the various people and ministries listed below through prayer, encouragement and regular financial giving.

Working Hands

This ministry is designed to engage the congregation, members of North River, and people in our community through needed works projects within our church and throughout the region. Examples of work to be done: build ramps for accessibility, handy-man repairs, yard debris removal for those without the means or ability to do it for themselves. We extend the loving hands of God to help those in need through our working hands.
