Baptism

We are going to celebrate as a few people are baptized on Sunday, December 31st.  North River accepts all forms of baptism for new members, yet we practice a faith baptism or believers’ baptism because it most closely follows the patterns we see in the New Testament.  When a person is baptized, he or she is declaring that they have put their faith in Jesus, and rejoicing as baptism signifies the washing away of sin, symbolically declaring the death and resurrection of Jesus, and pointing to a new start in life because of God’s grace.   If you would like to be baptized, CLICK HERE to sign up.
