Copy of Haves & Needs newsletter3

North River is a community that deeply cares for each other’s needs. One of the ways we do this is by bringing together those in need with those who have items or services available—we call it Haves & Needs.

In the book of Acts, we see a Christ-following community that lived together, prayed together, and shared everything in common. Like the early church in Acts, at North River, we want to actively meet needs in our community. Our Haves & Needs listings help us to do just that by bringing together those who can provide a specific service or item with those who are in need.

If you are a regular participant in our North River community, we invite you to join our Haves & Needs Group to see current needs, find out what’s available, and respond as God leads you

Select “Add Me to the Group” if you would like to get updates of items available or see what is needed.

If you have a need or have an item to give, select the submission button to complete the form.

Reflect God’s love into the difficult times of life by caring for one another in very practical ways

“Carry each other’s burdens and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ…”  Galatians 6:2

The Caring Connection Team provides short-term assistance and support to individuals and families who are experiencing a challenge or crisis in their life. Some of these life challenges might be a new birth, illness, surgery recovery, death, or other crises. The Caring Connection Team can help coordinate meals, visits, phone calls, cards, and rides to church and medical appointments.

If you are in need of assistance, please reach out to us by email.  You can email the Caring Connection Team HERE.  Once your request has been received, someone will respond to you quickly.

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” Matthew 25:35-36

The Deacons Fund helps those with financial burdens in emergency situations by providing physical and tangible needs during a difficult time.  The Fund is designed to help with providing food, heat, utilities and housing.  If you are experiencing a financial hardship, please contact the Deacons Team HERE, and someone will be able to help you.

North River Church has compiled a resource list of Church, Local and State agencies.  You can access the resource list HERE.

“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” James 5:16

If you would like to have someone pray with you or for you, please contact the Deacons Team HERE.
