For years I pushed aside my faith.  It wasn’t on my priority list… I went through life determined to create a a “good life” and although I had all of the ingredients for what most would consider a successful life, something was missing.  Inside I felt “empty”.  I tried to fill that void with work, interests or self-help books but never quite felt complete.  I now know what was missing.  That something was Jesus.  I am so grateful and feel so blessed to re-discover my relationship with God. I have met so many wonderful people at North River.  I have found my church home.

As Christians we are Ambassadors called to extend the love of Christ to others in the hope that they will experience God’s love also. We believe extending the love of Christ begins with prayer.

Pray For Impact is a challenge to identify two people in your life who you will commit to praying for on a regular basis.  When we pray, God moves!  Imagine the impact of every person at North River praying for 2 people on the South Shore to know God’s love.  Imagine the ripple-effect that would have on families, neighborhoods, our communities and beyond!

If you would like to be part of the #prayforimpact challenge, please fill out the commitment card HERE.

If you have a story of someone you have been praying for that you would like to share with us, please share your story HERE.
